Harry bedded down for the night, closing his eyes and falling asleep.
In his dreams, he sat next to Snape as they watched a play. Harry turned to look at the Headmaster and frowned. "Why am I here with you?"
"Hush. I'm enjoying myself."
"This is a dream."
Snape's lips curled into a smile. "If that's what you want to think. I prefer to call it a pleasant distraction." Somehow Harry knew Snape meant him. Snape reached for his hand and Harry let their fingers curl together.
When Harry awoke, the taste of dream Snape's gentle kiss lingered with him.
