Before Snape would acquiesce to Harry's demands of marriage, he first had to defeat a dragon. The problem was that dragons were under wizard protection and killing them would land him in Azkaban.
"Can't I do something else?"
"No."
After Harry tried sneaking into the dragon reserve, resulting in his lifetime ban, he knew Snape would never marry him. Unless...
Harry found himself in front of Snape with wand in hand, tying him to a chair, and sitting on his lap. "The only dragon I know is you, and I'll defeat you."
Harry kissed Snape as he began his seduction.
