Severus watched Harry from afar as Harry touched the scar on his forehead. He spent nineteen years faking his death and the only regret he's ever had over it was leaving behind him. He could have stayed and forged a content life with Harry, but he would have taken away Harry's opportunity for normalcy and children.
Ginny reached for her husband and Harry turned away from her touch. Interesting. Perhaps there was hope. Severus wrapped his cloak tighter around his body when the two walked passed him. Harry was so close he could have reached out and touched him.
