There were no surprises when it came to Snape. Harry knew every snarl, scowl, frown, and snigger. He knew Snape's body better than his own and trailed his tongue along every corner and crease. He knew how to make Snape moan, laugh, or even cry, though he never used the latter against him.
Harry curled into Snape's body, taking his lover's warmth. After the war ended, Harry cherished the normalcy of loving this man. Every day was the same, satisfying in knowing what each moment would bring.
Snape drew Harry's lips to his, caressing his cheek gently.
No surprises. Perfect.
