It started out as a kiss, how did it end up like that?
Harry loved Ginny. When he kissed her lips, her sweet red lips, he would melt inside and want to pull her in closer for more. Nothing was better than kissing his beloved girl. So how did their relationship end up with Ginny yelling at him, yelling that she never wanted to see again, and tossing his ring away. The ring bounced off his chest and fell at his feet. Harry's heart would never recover.
It started out as a kiss, how did it end up like this?
Harry never thought he could fall in love with someone, anyone, like Severus Snape. He was sarcastic and cruel and unkind. He wasn't anything like Ginny Weasley. Perhaps that was the reason then. When Snape pulled him close and dipped his head to kiss him, Harry's breath was stolen away, his will to think gone. All he could do was feel - feel Snape's warm hands and lips, feel the love Snape radiated but never spoke, feel alive. They didn't need rings or fancy ceremonies or even words. They ended up together and that was all that mattered.
