Harry stood outside Spinner's End with a broken heart and fond memories of better times. Hateful words and angry doubts painted his last moment with Snape. When Snape slammed the door out of Harry's life, Harry knew it was a mistake when he could hear only the deafening sound of loneliness. And now he stood outside his own end, hoping there was a beginning somewhere in the spinner's web. For him.
"Harry?"
Snape appeared like a shadow and Harry moved to embrace him. "Forgive me?"
"Always," he murmured. The green eyes found the black and Harry knew he was home.
