Most students at Hogwarts weren't aware that Luna saw people by the light of their auras. Ginny was tinted pink by her aura while Hermione appeared mahogany. Neville and Harry were both green in color, though Neville was a lighter shade and Harry was darker. Ron was bright red like Gryffindor's color. When they were together in a group heading to Honeydukes for chocolates to purchase, she would squint her eyes and see a rainbow of color and joy.
It was magic that Luna could appreciate.
And herself? Luna was bright yellow, happy in her glow that she had friends.
