Kingsley wasn't normally a rash sort of wizard. Everything he did had thought and well planning before hand. Then he met Charlie Weasley and that all went south. He had needed a personal ambassador to Romania and Charlie was someone from a family he personally trusted. He asked Charlie one day and he said yes, no questions asked.

He thought it would be refreshing to work with a friend at his side instead of politicians.

"Don't you want to come out drinking? You deserve a drink or two," Charlie said as he sat on the edge of Kingsley's desk, arm resting on his own leg. "Just say yes."

Kingsley looked up at him from his piles of paperwork and snorted. "Yeah, I'll come out and drink, just when these piles are gone. I have too much work and the Ministry is still in disarray. I have no time for anything."

"I figured as much. Nothing to worry about. That's why I brought the drinks to you." With that, Charlie pulled a bottle of Firewhiskey from out of nowhere and thumped it on the desk. "As long as you have the glasses, we're good to go."

"Over there."

Charlie slid off the desk and moved to where Kingsley had pointed. He returned with the glasses and began to pour the Firewhiskey. He slid one of the glasses towards Kingsley. "Drink up."

Kingsley gave the glass a suspicious look before downing it in one go. Charlie soon followed, finishing with a lick of his lips. "See, that wasn't so bad. You need to loosen up every once in awhile. You know your face will permanently freeze with a frown if you keep that up, right?" Charlie poured them some more Firewhiskey. "Not that it'd detract from your good looks," he teased.

Kingsley pressed the rim of the glass against his bottom lip as he arched his eyebrow. "What?"

"You, good looking wizard. Surely you knew that. The Witch Weekly readers do." Charlie laughed and gulped his drink down. "Sorry, Firewhiskey makes me babble. I always forget that."

"No problem. Hey, thanks for this."

They finished off the rest of the bottle shortly thereafter. Charlie slid off the desk and gathered the empty bottle and glasses. "Did I put you that far behind your paperwork schedule? Because I'm not going to apology for that, you know. Everyone needs a break now and then."

"I figured you wouldn't." He pushed himself away from his desk and stood up. "Come on, the night is young and this paperwork will still be here tomorrow. Show me a good time, Weasley."

***

Kingsley awoke, sitting up in bed with a pounding headache and an unpleasant taste on his tongue that he needed to get rid of immediately. He should have known that when he said 'good time,' Charlie was going to take it in an entirely different direction. A drunken Muggle tattoo direction. On his arse.

Soft lips pressed against Kingsley's shoulder and he smiled despite himself. "Charlie."

The set of lips left his skin, but strong hands replaced them as they tenderly kneaded his muscles. "Yes?"

"I'm never drinking with you again."

Charlie laughed and slung his arms over Kingley's shoulders, enfolding him in a hug. "That's fair. Guess I'm just going to have to continue sleeping with you if I want to spend any time with you then."

Kingsley chuckled and shifted until he was snug against Charlie's chest. "That's fair."

"Oh, and Kingsley?"

"Hrm?"

Charlie whispered against his ear. "That dragon tattoo with my name engraved on it is hot."
