The first time Bela stole something, it wasn't actually her hands that did the deed. She'd stolen her parents' lives with a contract and it was, to this day, the best thing she'd ever stolen. Every year on the anniversary of their deaths, she uncorked the most expensive wine she could purchase and drank herself silly.
She'd gain a terrible headache the next day, but it was worth it to celebrate her life free from the chains of her past.
Bela loved stealing priceless artifacts and laughing at everyone else. She was the best and that was the simple truth.
She watched the men she hired break into the museum. They were good at what they did, they had to be for the money she paid them, and she needed that expertise in acquiring the artifact her customer wanted. The job was quick and proceeded according to plan. Bela smirked as she leaned back in her chair to make a phone call. Once the men dropped off the artifact in the designated spot, the police would be waiting.
Loose ends tied up.
"Hello? I'd like to report a robbery. Yes, let me give you the address."
Bela loved her life.
