It was a secret he kept hidden from the others in his garrison, but Uriel loved blood. He was a warrior and there was nothing greater than vanquishing his foe. Nothing as impersonal as wiping out a city from on high. No, Uriel liked to get down and dirty when he cleansed. He liked ripping flesh from bone and watching blood splash onto the ground as screams echoed in the air.

Perfection.

The new age left him restless as any warrior without a war. He needed to feel blood running through his fingers.

Uriel found his way to Sam's campaign.

Sam Winchester was Lucifer's most faithful and the Prince of Hell. He broke the Morning Star free from his prison and began claiming the Earth for his own. Wherever he went, blood and ruin followed. Uriel watched Sam from afar and lusted.

He found the opportunity to kneel at Sam's feet and declare his allegiance. Sam lifted him to his feet and kissed him, accepting him within the fold.

"My vengeful angel. You'll look beautiful with blood running down your body." Sam ran his hand down Uriel's chest. "Mine."

Uriel couldn't help but agree when he was allowed to slaughter.
