"Look at the ass on Ackles."
"I know. What I wouldn't give just to bend him over and have my way with him."
Jared followed their gaze to the impromptu dance off between the various cheerleaders at the party. Jensen was in the thick of it, laughing as he shook his ass to the other cheerleaders. Jared closed his text book - The Theory of Atomic Structure and Spectra - and watched. As interesting as molecular physics was, nothing was better than Jensen Ackles.
Jensen stumbled his way, nudging aside people to get through, and began tugging at Jared's hands. "You promised to dance with me," said Jensen, breathless.
Without waiting for an answer, Jensen pulled Jared onto the makeshift dance floor and wrapped his arms around Jared's neck. "Are you enjoying yourself, baby?"
"Yeah."
"Liar," teased Jensen before planting a kiss on Jared's chapped lips. "Thank you for coming here for me."
"Anything for you, Jen. You know that."
Jensen grinned, freckles popping out clearly at the action, and Jared soaked it in. Jared thought back to the voices from earlier, the jocks lusting after Jensen. Jensen, the most gorgeous cheerleader at their college. Possibly even the entire state.
"You could have chosen anyone, absolutely anyone, and you chose me," whispered Jared, afraid to speak any louder in case he jinxed his luck. "I'm just a geek."
"My geek," countered Jensen. "My handsome, sexy, brilliant geek. You're going to be the best scientist in the world, and I'm lucky to just know you."
The song ended and Jared, skin flushed with pride and embarrassment, led Jensen away from the dance floor, away from the crowd, and onto the balcony.
"Jared? Baby?"
Jared turned to Jensen, eyes dropping to the floor in nervousness. "I was thinking about the first time we met four years ago. Do you remember that?"
Jensen tossed his head back and laughed. "You mean how smashed I was after the football game and how I seduced you thinking you were someone else?"
Jared flushed, recalling Jensen's low voice and how Jensen felt around his cock. It was the first time he'd had sex, and it was with a popular cheerleader no less. He'd came so many times that night due to Jensen's skillful administrations. And when the sun rose with Jared deathly afraid Jensen was going to laugh at him for being a pathetic loser, Jensen surprised him by wanting to date. Four years later, they were still dating and Jared couldn't be happier that someone like Jensen took a chance on someone like him.
"I love you, Jen."
Jensen smiled and placed his hand on Jared's cheek, lifting his face until their eyes met. "Love you too, Jared. Love you so much. I've never been more thankful than ever for how drunk I was that night because if I wasn't, we wouldn't be here."
It was time. "Good. Oh, Jen." He dropped to one knee and took Jensen's hand in his. "Jensen Ackles, will you marry me?"
Jensen broke into a wide grin and happy noises escaped past his lips. "Jared-"
"I can't live without you and I don't want to try. Marry me."
"Of course I will." Jared took out the ring from his jacket pocket and slid it onto Jensen's finger before standing on his feet. "I'm going to be the pampered husband of a famous scientist!"
As Jensen pressed kisses along Jared's face, Jared laughed and held Jensen in his arms. "Pampered? I'm going to be the husband of a cheerleader turned great physical therapist. It's me who is going to be pampered."
"We have to tell everybody." He wrinkled his nose. "Please don't tell me I have to plan our wedding."
"I hope you don't mind, but I took the liberty of writing up a wedding plan."
Jensen laughed and slipped his hand into Jared's. "We're going to get married in a museum, aren't we?"
Jared flushed once more, happy that Jensen got him so completely.
