In her long life, Ellen never knew of a hunter who met an honest to God angel. That is until Dean was pulled out of Hell by one. The thought of angels out there should have comforted her, but it didn't. There was too much horror and chaos in the world to justify an angel's existence. It was just proof that God didn't care about mere mortals, like her Bill.
Ellen tucked her gun against her back as she toed the black dog corpse.
The only angel she believed in was her daughter Jo and the other hunters out there.
